Accounts Administrator; legal

Position: Accounts Administrator (legal)
Thrive Trowbridge is delighted to be working with our client in the Devizes area, who are actively looking to recruit an  Accounts Administrator (legal)  on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:
Working in a busy and friendly team, you will provide essential support to a number of departments, duties will include :
Daily online client banking
Dealing with client credit/debit card transactions, cheques and cash
Maintaining client ledgers
All stages of conveyancing completions from checking packs to managing transactions
Posting transactions to client ledgers including costs, fees and monies in/out
Month end reporting
Additional duties as and when required including payment runs and inputting invoices
What you will need to succeed:
A proven track record in a similar role is essential, legal experience beneficial
Organised, efficient and good at working under pressure
A good level of numeracy
Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a small team
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (excel in particular)
Excellent communication skills over the phone as well as via email
