Your Responsibilities as a Complex Care Worker
In this vital health and social care role, you will be responsible for providing sophisticated clinical care and daily support. Your key duties will include:
Responsibilities- Delivering high-quality complex clinical care, including:
- PEG Feeding and management
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilator and BiPAP Management
- Spinal Injury Support
- Cough Assist and Oxygen Therapy
- Supporting clients with daily living skills to promote independence and well-being
- Maintaining accurate digital care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports
- Working collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) to ensure consistent, safe and effective care
To be successful in this support worker role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a Complex Care role (with adults or children)
- Proven competency in clinical skills such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and ventilator management
- Confidence in using digital care planning systems
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, resilient and professional attitude
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults or Children)
- Current First Aid training
