We're looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to lead the operational delivery of our compliance programmes, ensuring our homes remain safe, our services remain compliant, and our customers receive the high standards they deserve. You'll provide leadership to a team of compliance professionals while overseeing contractors, performance, budgets, and regulatory requirements across a varied compliance portfolio.

About the role
As our Compliance Manager, you'll lead the delivery of compliance services that help keep our homes safe and compliant. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, M&E and Operational Administration, you'll provide leadership to Compliance Project Surveyors and Compliance Supervisors, ensuring programmes are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll oversee multiple compliance programmes, manage contractor performance, monitor budgets and KPIs. You take ownership of compliance delivery, leading programmes, managing contractor performance, monitoring budgets and KPIs, and ensuring statutory and regulatory obligations are met. You make informed decisions and take action when issues arise.

You are committed to continuous improvement, keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory changes, identifying opportunities to improve performance, and supporting the development of both individuals and teams.

Champion Communication
You communicate with confidence and credibility, building strong relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders. Whether you're leading teams, presenting performance information or managing customer expectations, you provide clear direction and inspire confidence.

You'll bring:

* Level 5 or above in building / construction related qualification or equivalent experience/qualification.

* Relevant Leadership qualification CMI / ILM or equivalent level 3 or above.

* Extensive knowledge and experience within management of compliance programmes.

* Excellent construction/maintenance technical knowledge.

* Leadership skills to lead & motivate a range of teams of professional and support staff to deliver excellent services to our customers.

* Knowledge of current legislation, codes of practice and regulations relating to building and maintenance.

* A commitment to creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and customers are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

Pre employment requirements
