Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join our dedicated team. The practice offers a high ratio of nurse to vet support, allowing for comprehensive patient care and the opportunity to work up cases to the highest standard.

Our practice boasts a large, loyal client base, providing a diverse range of small animal cases. We operate a modern, purpose‑built facility equipped with digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, laparoscopy, ultrasound, a full in‑house lab, and separate dog, cat, and exotics kennel wards. We also have a fully equipped operating theatre. Our growing team includes three veterinary surgeons, eight qualified veterinary nurses, one trainee veterinary nurse, one veterinary nursing assistant, and four receptionists, all supported by clinical and admin Team Leaders.

We emphasize professional development with a generous CPD allowance and funding for certifications.

The practice operates with three vets per day: two consulting and one dedicated to surgery. We offer part‑time or weekend‑only positions with no out‑of‑hours requirements, allowing for a work schedule that suits your lifestyle. We prioritize work‑life balance with flexible rotas, 15‑minute standard consults, protected lunch breaks, and dedicated admin time.

• Salary up to £65,000 (fte) based on experience
