If you love working with people and want to make a real difference, this is your chance to join our team as a Sales Adviser on an 18-month fixed‑term contract. You'll play a key role in guiding customers through the exciting journey of home ownership, from first enquiry to moving day.
Aboutthe Role
As a Sales Adviser, you'll be the first point of contact for customers looking for shared ownership. You'll manage enquiries, arrange viewings, and ensure every customer feels supported throughout the process. From creating engaging property listings to handing over keys on move‑in day, this role combines customer service, sales, and marketing in a dynamic environment.
What you’ll do- Act as a first point of contact for prospective new customers across all contact points including by phone, email, letter, website, and social media.
- Set up new shared ownership and other homes on to the housing and property management systems.
- Carry out pre‑sale viewings of new homes for potential customers.
- Carry out the handover of the new home to the customer when they move in.
- Ensure that void properties being marketed for sale are monitored, ensuring they are kept in good order and presented for sale at all times.
- Support the sales manager in progressing sales.
- Customer Driven – You put customers at the heart of everything you do, supporting them throughout the buying process to ensure a positive experience.
- Accountability – You take ownership of your work, from accurate property listings to smooth handovers, delivering a reliable and professional service.
- Develop & Learn – You’re eager to grow your knowledge of home ownership options and sales processes, embracing every opportunity to improve.
- Champion Communication – You communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues, making complex information simple and accessible.
- GCSE A to C in English or Maths or equivalent. Or ability to demonstrate proficiency in English and maths.
- Experience of working in a housing/sales environment.
- Experience working with databases and spreadsheets (Excel).
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Ability to plan and prioritise work, meeting targets and deadlines.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. A full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use are essential for this role.
