Forklift Driver; Reach Truck, Counterbalance, PPT

Position: Forklift Driver (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, PPT)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver with valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences to join our fast-paced warehouse team. You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock across various zones, ensuring accuracy in loading, storage, and dispatch operations. This role is crucial in maintaining workflow and inventory integrity within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack goods safely and efficiently.
Transport stock between inbound, storage, and outbound areas with precision and care.
Conduct daily pre-use safety checks and report any mechanical issues or damage immediately.
Support goods-in/goods-out procedures, including verifying delivery paperwork and product codes.
Ensure items are placed in correct bays using WMS or location systems.
Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
Adhere to site health & safety policies and PPE requirements at all times.
Work flexibly to support wider warehouse tasks including manual handling when required.

Skills & Requirements

Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences (in-date, RTITB or ITSSAR preferred).
Proven experience operating both truck types in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Good awareness of warehouse layout, racking systems, and safe stacking procedures.
Comfortable with physical work and able to lift items safely as part of routine tasks.
Familiarity with barcode scanning and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions under time pressure.
