Job Description:

This position provides technical support for Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Troy, Alabama.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automated Test Equipment Support: Support the development and operation of automated test equipment for missile production assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Test Plan Development & Maintenance: Create and maintain detailed test plans and procedures.
  • Hands-on Manufacturing Support: Provide direct manufacturing floor support for electrical/electronic component integration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of military missiles.
  • Required Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: Interpret engineering requirements from product data drawings, parts lists, specifications, and schematics.
  • Circuit Analysis: Demonstrate electronic circuit testing and analysis skills to support missile production and testing.
  • Troubleshooting: Ability to replace or repair non-operational electronic components.
  • Statistical Analysis: Use statistical data to develop trend analyses, conduct failure analysis, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Additional Information:

    • Relocation Assistance: Available for this position.
    • Location: Troy, Alabama, in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region—characterized by hot, humid summers and mild winters.
    • Schedule: Ability to work various shifts, including first, night, and weekends. Open to recent graduates and May 2024 graduates.
    • Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist in obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start.

    Desired Skills:

    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics.
    • Basic understanding of electronic circuits.
    • Experience with electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, analyzers).
    • Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment.
    • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, and software like LabVIEW and Test Stand is desirable.
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and excellent communication skills.
