Description
You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the Javelin Program, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities in Troy, Alabama. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.
What You Will Be DoingAs the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including Test Stand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing.
- Upgrading, Integrating, and Supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed
- Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues
- Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related, and 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience Supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA’s) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling
- Experience Integrating Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Ability to travel to Orlando, FL for the first three months to complete on‑program training
- Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand
- Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. This position requires a government security clearance, and you must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. Clearance Level: Secret.
