Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in a STEM related degree
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have an interim clearance prior to starting.
- Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF‑regulated items). Quality Engineer
You will be the Quality Engineer for your team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product integrity and delivering high‑quality solutions to our customers.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for interfacing with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering, investigating non‑conformance issues, conducting hardware quality audits and foreign‑object‑elimination walk‑downs, and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Your Responsibilities- Interfacing with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering personnel
- Investigating non‑conformance issues and implementing root‑cause corrective actions
- Conducting Hardware Quality Audits (HQAs) and Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) walk‑downs
- Participating in product, process, and surveillance audits/assessments to identify improvement opportunities
- Developing and executing corrective‑preventive measures based on audit findings

Desired Skills- STEM degree at bachelors level or above highly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
- Quality discipline internship or DoD industry internship
- Experience with SAP, Windchill, MPMLink

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Compensation & BenefitsPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 – $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. This information is a general guideline only.
