The Digital Marketing Strategist is critical to the success of Kimber’s online business, brand awareness and digital marketing performance. In this role, the individual is responsible for optimizing Kimber SEO copywriting for the Kimber website and E-Commerce store essential in enhancing search capabilities that deliver increasing sales. This position will work closely with the Marketing Director, sales team, and customer service to garner the greatest possible insight in order to activate responsive and kinetic campaigns that will elevate the Kimber brand within the hunting and shooting sports industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and writes SEO for entire Kimber online product catalog.
- Extracts analytical data from SEMRUSH and has the ability to understand, utilize and implement best practices that drive superior performance.
- Implements keyword data updates weekly while conducting analysis and implementing strategies to maintain a top 5 google search rank.
- Monitors website and E-Commerce performance daily to ensure best practices are followed, repairs are rapid and performance is maintained at the highest level.
- Develops and implements aggressive digital sales strategies while elevating website efficiencies, reporting and performance.
- Creates and implement a rolling E-Comm inventory activation and sunset strategy that cooperates with ERP.
- Activates and maintain strict promotional calendar in accordance with seasonal sales expectations.
- Continuously updates MAGENTO E-Commerce open-source software.
- Interface with and attend various internal customers’ I.T./Coordination meetings as required to remain updated on current issues or requirements.
- Maintains close liaison with departments being supported.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful Digital Marketing Strategist for Kimber will have a very high level of motivation and be driven to outperform the established key performance indicators that will put Kimber within the top 3 ranked websites in the hunting and shooting sports industry. In order to perform this job successfully, this individual will have the ability to operate autonomously but must create a rigid criteria and activate a key protocol.

- Excellent understanding of Google and SEO code writing, meta titles and descriptions.
- Actively seeks to improve coding in the digital marketplace.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process, MRP/ERP Systems (Infor Visual experience a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and be hungry to elevate performance and advocates for the tools necessary to seek to achieve their goals.
- Ability to work with MAGENTO Open-source E-Commerce software.
- E-Mail database experience required and familiarization with CRM Software such as HUBspot or Klaviyo is an essential aspect of the role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Minimum 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience writing SEO and/or working in a I.T. setting activating and elevating E-Commerce performance.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have previous CRM Software experience. Hubspot, Klaviyo or similar relevant experience is required. Understanding of Oracle based software is essential in understanding how MRP/ERP software speaks to E-Commerce software. Statistical and analytic Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word using MS Windows platform. MS PowerPoint and MS Access experience is a plus. Familiarity utilizing email distribution software and MAGENTO Shopping carts are essential.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Timely attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends. Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
