Warehouse Specialist

Overview

Warehouse Specialist at Townsend Building Supply (a division of Carter Lumber) is a role in the building materials/construction industry. You will handle shipping and receiving materials, pull stock and custom materials per orders, and stage them until ready to ship. You will assist with inventory and report shortages. Equipment provided includes forklifts, pallet jacks, banding machines, and other tools to facilitate the job.

• Conduct the workflow of shipping and receiving materials
• Pull stock and custom materials according to orders
• Stage materials until orders are complete and ready for shipment
• Assist with inventory and report shortages
• Ensure incoming orders are correct and placed in proper storage areas

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift heavy material
