We’re partnering with several well-established companies across Metro Detroit seeking an Accounting Manager or Controller to lead their accounting and reporting functions. These are hands‑on, high‑visibility roles for professionals who want to blend technical expertise with leadership and strategic insight.

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, month‑end close, and financial statement preparation
• Manage and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decisions
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Partner with leadership to analyze financial performance and implement process improvements
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
• Support ERP system improvements and automation initiatives

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or service‑based industries is a plus
