Accountant Specialist
Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Managing income and expenditure accounts
- Supporting filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
- Ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding financial assets
- Communicating with various departments regarding regulatory changes
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
- Performing special projects and other administrative tasks as necessary
- Checking AP/AR with internal departments and vendors
- Supporting administrative tasks, including onboarding laptop setup and internal portal support
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- 2+ years of experience in accounting (financial & tax) or a related field
- Experience with accounting software and data entry
- Work experience with SAP or similar software
- Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Analytical skills
- Korean-English bilingual proficiency
- Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) certification
