Accounts Payable Accountant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable working with ERP systems.

• Process high-volume vendor invoices, including matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way match)
• Verify pricing, quantities, and terms to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and process weekly and monthly vendor payments (ACH, check, wire)
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors and internal departments
• Maintain vendor master files and ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist with month-end close, including AP accruals and reconciliations
• Review and code invoices to appropriate GL accounts and cost centers
• Support audits by providing documentation and reports
• Maintain organized and accurate AP records

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Net Suite, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
