We are seeking a Receivership Analyst / Project Manager to support court‑appointed receiverships involving complex commercial, real estate, and operating business assets. This role sits at the intersection of legal process, financial analysis, asset management, and operational oversight.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail‑driven, and comfortable operating in fast‑moving, high‑responsibility environments where precision, judgment, and accountability matter.
What You’ll Do- Support court‑appointed receiverships from pre‑appointment through final disposition
- Conduct deep background analysis of assets, entities, ownership structures, liens, UCC filings, taxes, licenses, and public records
- Prepare day‑one estate action plans, internal briefings, and memoranda for the Receiver
- Coordinate court orders, bonds, recordings, insurance, utilities, banking, and estate setup
- Maintain case management files and estate controls, including keys, logins, codes, and access protocols
- Track estate operations: cash flow, inventory, rents, sales, expenses, vendors, and reporting
- Draft and compile court reports, lender updates, fee petitions, motions, and supporting exhibits
- Manage vendors, brokers, auctioneers, security services, and operational professionals
- Conduct investigative analysis related to fraud, asset diversion, missing inventory, or misuse of funds
- Coordinate asset sales, including marketing materials, NDAs, site tours, offers, purchase agreements, and closings
- Support contested matters, enforcement actions, subpoenas, depositions, and court appearances as needed
- Maintain estate accounting and reporting using tools such as Excel, Word, and Quick Books
What Success Looks Like
- Demonstrates command of receivership workflows, documentation, and statutory frameworks
- Independently manages assigned estates with oversight from the Receiver
- Produces accurate, timely reporting and analysis trusted by courts, lenders, and counsel
- Builds reliable vendor and operational contacts to deploy across estates
- Contributes to process improvement, templates, and internal knowledge systems
- Reports directly to the Receiver / Senior Leadership Team
- Works closely with attorneys, analysts, accounting, vendors, courts, and external stakeholders
- Experience working on receiverships (law firm experience helpful but not required)
- Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of real estate, secured transactions, liens, UCC filings, and asset controls
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Quick Books
- Ability to manage multiple estates, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience with commercial litigation, insolvency, workouts, or asset recovery
- Exposure to multi‑state receiverships or complex operating businesses
- Prior court interaction, reporting, or testimony experience
- Extremely detail‑oriented with strong mathematical and written accuracy
- Professional, calm, and reliable under pressure
- Strong judgment and discretion with confidential matters
- Collaborative mindset — operates as part of “the Receiver” and team, not as an individual contributor only
- Comfortable with long days, unpredictable schedules, and high‑responsibility situations
