DM Payroll Solutions has been streamlining payroll and workforce management for businesses for over 60 years. We’re looking for a proactive Client Consultant to join the Troy team to train, support, and maintain relationships with both new and existing payroll clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert customer consulting services, including issue resolution and process improvement.
- Manage new client set‑up and conversion activities.
- Cross‑sell company services to existing clients to enhance value and engagement.
- Conduct on‑site client consulting and/or training sessions.
- Support tax filing department operations and ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Perform accurate payroll data entry and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Handle prospect system calls and data entry for potential clients.
- Create and administer program issue reports for internal tracking and resolution.
- Serve as emergency switchboard backup when needed.
- Train designated Doeren Mayhew Payroll System employees on processes and systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Customer‑focused mindset with critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
