Working as an Electrical Design Technician
, supporting our data center design team, you’ll grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future – big and small, global and local. You will work with a team of Revit Technicians, Designers, Engineers and Architects to design and draft drawings for various facility design projects, applying diversified knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software and practices to prepare construction drawings for MEP systems.

• At least 7 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building‑related designs
• BS Degree reduces this requirement by 1–2 years
• Proficient in creating and updating templates and project set‑up in Revit
• Familiar with working with central files and local files
• Ability to manage work‑sets, control visibility, and use various parameters in Revit families and schedules
• Good written and verbal skills

• Strong skills with Revit 2017 & 2018, BIM
  360, Autodesk, BIM 360 GLUE and Navisworks
• US Citizen

The position is available at any location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the “best” candidates.

Our hybrid working policy allows you to split your work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
