This on-site, full-time role for an Associate Interior Designer is based in Troy, MI. The Associate Interior Designer will assist in the development and execution of design concepts from start to finish, collaborate with team members and clients on space planning and layout, and contribute to the creation of construction drawings and material selections. The role also involves supporting the specification of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) and ensuring all design elements align with project requirements while maintaining True Home Studio’s signature aesthetic.

- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to achieve functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Understanding of Architecture and experience working with Construction Drawings to support various project stages.
- Knowledge of cabinetry, stone, plumbing, and hardware specification, and integration into cohesive design plans.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to engage clients and team members effectively.
- Proficiency in design software and tools, such as 20/20, AutoCAD or similar programs, is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in high-end residential design or cabinetry design is a plus.
