Dermatopathology Laboratory of Central States (DLCS) is currently seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Dermatopathologist to join our thriving dermatopathology laboratory located in Troy, Michigan.
DLCS is a CAP‑accredited laboratory that has been a cornerstone of dermatopathology services in the region for over 14 years, built on a foundation of clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.
About DLCSDLCS employs 7 board‑certified dermatopathologists and serves the pathology needs of DOCS Dermatology and a wide network of physician groups across the United States. Our team‑based model emphasizes diagnostic precision, collegiality, and work‑life balance. We also consider candidates interested in a hybrid role, practicing both general dermatology and dermatopathology.
The Role
This position is based in our Troy, Michigan dermatopathology lab, which handles a high volume of outpatient cases and offers exposure to a broad spectrum of skin pathology. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals in a collegial setting where diagnostic support, collaboration, and continued learning are valued and encouraged.
Qualifications- MD/DO with board certification in Pathology or Dermatology and dermatopathology board certification (or eligibility)
- Dermatopathology fellowship training required
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
- Previous experience a plus, but not required
- Full‑time preferred; part‑time will be considered
- 4‑5 day work week, no call or weekends
- Production model with guaranteed volume/salary
