Job Summary
The Assistant Professor position in the Department of Management, HRM, and Law for the Sorrell College of Business is a full‑time, tenure‑track faculty position with a ten‑month appointment to begin August 1, 2026. This position is responsible for teaching management courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; providing instruction in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and/or online formats; conducting academic research in line with AACSB expectations;
advising students; and providing service to the Department, College, University, and community.

Responsible for teaching management courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and/or online formats.
Research and ServiceConduct academic research in line with AACSB expectations; advise students; provide service to the Department, College, University, and community.
Driving RequirementsDriving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility.

Minimum QualificationsDoctoral degree in management or a closely‑related field (ABDs within one year of completion will also be considered) from an AACSB accredited institution.
Preferred QualificationsCombination of professional work experience, peer‑reviewed research, and effective teaching to complement academic credentials.
