Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with curriculum development teams and fellow SMEs to design, develop, review, and validate technical training content
• Research and create training materials focused on automotive service, diagnostics, repair procedures, and emerging technologies
• Provide technical expertise related to diesel engine systems, performance, diagnostics, and repair
• Translate complex automotive and diesel technical information into effective learning solutions for technicians and service personnel
• Support the development of web-based, virtual, instructor-led, and hands-on technical training programs
• Review training materials for technical accuracy, completeness, and alignment with industry standards
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to validate procedures and troubleshooting methodologies
• Conduct technical research and stay current with evolving automotive and diesel technologies
• Work collaboratively with customers, curriculum teams, and stakeholders to ensure training objectives are achieved
• Assist in the continuous improvement of technical training programs and development processes
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines
• Provide technical writing support for service and training documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Formal Education or Training in Automotive Technology or Diesel Technology
• ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician
• ASE A9 Diesel Engine Performance Certification
• ASE Certifications A1 through A8
