** JOB PURPOSE
** We seek a Maintenance Engineer based out of our office at 1624 Meijer Drive, Troy, MI 48084. Note, this position does not require travel.
** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
**** DUTIES:
** Ensure all production related equipment is working to optimum efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary. Ensure maintenance activities adhere to established maintenance schedules. Maintain corrective and preventive maintenance metrics. Develop effective predictive / preventive maintenance routines for all equipment. Create standard maintenance procedures. Assist in the purchase and management of spare parts. Conduct maintenance pass off on new plant purchases.
Create validation plans for new equipment. Ensure new equipment meets Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements. Collaborate with Engineering team to develop test equipment and process requirements for new programs. Support team with professional development. Ensure compliance with all EH&S rules and practices and all company practices, policies, and established rules. Ensure cleanliness of production floor and equipment (5S) and adherence to all maintenance requirements.
Actively participate in projects and activities centered on Safety, Quality and Waste reduction.
** REQUIREMENTS:
** Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related engineering field and 36 months of experience in job offered or related position within a manufacturing environment for the automotive industry. Required experience must include:
Experience with equipment maintenance (corrective / preventative);
Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling;
Experience troubleshooting PLC ladder logic;
Experience with pneumatic / hydraulic systems and repair;
Experience with maintenance metrics, MTTF, MTBF, MTTR;
Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
