Transforming the Future with Convergence of Simulation and Data Prototype Build Coordinator
Job Summary:
Our client in Auburn Hills, MI is looking for a Prototype Build Coordinator. This is a contract position.
- Adjust timing for builds based on material and engine availability
- Generate PDB Master BOM’s from EBOM
- Submit PDS BOM’s for sign off.
- Maintain propulsion system build BOM’s in PDS for accuracy
- Prioritize builds through Sci-Labs.
- Create build Work Orders for all ground up propulsion system builds, updates, and failures or engine updates post test.
- Create Storage tags for all material that requires long/short term storage
- Create Misc. parts pull requests based on engineering needs
- Create Machining Work Orders for machining requests based on engineering needs
- Chair weekly build and test planning meetings
- Locate and tag material for stock based on engineering needs
- Create Shippers, Gate passes, move requests, etc. for all material movement inside and outside of CTC.
- Recommend best practice for Issue Resolution
- High School Diploma with 5 years experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
- Self motivated with ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Microsoft Office skills, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Logistics
- 10 years Automotive Industry Experience
- PDS and JTETSO system experience.
- Microsoft Project experience.
