• Support design tasks, including calculation, simulation, CAD modeling, analysis, component sizing
• Component or system level mechanical testing
• Component teardown analysis – physical teardown, inspection pictures, documentation
• Interface with cross‑functional teams to effectively complete assigned tasks
• Work independently and respond to instruction
• Receive developmental opportunities such as projects, job rotation, hands‑on training, and exposure to Schaeffler's technological processes

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Extremely self‑motivated and driven to achieve results
• Assertive problem‑solving approach
  
  Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods and lift and move thirty pounds
• SAE collegiate competition team experience (Formula, Baja, etc.) preferred
• 3D CAD modeling and software preferred
• Mechanical hobbyist preferred
