Manager, Federal Tax

* Job Responsibilities:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
** CPA or Master’s in Tax is a plus**.
* 8–12 years of federal & state tax experience, ideally in a corporate or Big Four environment.
* Solid understanding of U.S. tax laws and regulations.
* Familiar with
** One Source Income Tax
** and Microsoft Office Suite (Power BI & One Stream a plus).
* Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
* Experience managing projects and mentoring tax teams.
* Solid knowledge of U.S. tax rules, including:  + BEAT  + S174  + CAMT  + 163(j) Limitation Rules  + Consolidated Tax Returns.
* Proficient with
** ASC 740**,
** FIN 48**,
** APB 23**, and
** US GAAP**.
* Good understanding of State & Local Taxation
* Familiarity with international taxation is a plus.
* Supervise and develop junior team members in accordance with company policies and the Magna Employee’s Charter.
* Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
