Director of Rehabilitation PTA

Position Summary

Bradford Hills Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our in-house therapy department. The ideal candidate is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTAI) with strong leadership and clinical management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment.

• Direct and oversee all therapy operations, including Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services

• Provide clinical leadership, staff supervision, and performance coaching

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized resident care plans in collaboration with nursing and medical teams

• Manage department budgets, productivity, and quality improvement initiatives

• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient billing and reimbursement practices

• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional resident care

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with relevant management experience

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), inpatient rehab, or long-term care setting

• Strong understanding of Medicare guidelines, PDPM, and therapy documentation standards

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a multidisciplinary therapy team
