Our Respiratory Care Department provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages. Our team of respiratory therapists collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, aiming to improve respiratory health and patient quality of life.

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital opened in 1977 and has grown to 530 licensed beds, offering a comprehensive array of healthcare services.

Scope of Job

Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders. The role includes educating patients, students, staff and physicians; providing technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; and assisting with general department functions.

• Required Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy

• Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status (Required)

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist - State MI (Upon Hire required)

• CRT - Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC (Upon Hire required)

• CRT - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (Upon Hire required) OR

• CRT - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross (Upon Hire required)
