Schedule:

Full‑Time Rotating Shifts

• Perform benefits investigation, prescription prior authorization, and research financial assistance needed to ensure patients have access to medications.
• Interpret patient treatment plans and medical notes to facilitate patient care.
• Evaluate pharmacy‑related inquiries (financial barriers, therapy management outcomes, non‑adherence) and communicate with nursing, providers, social workers, and physician staff about additional requirements or potential barriers.
• Perform all necessary steps during order entry to ensure orders are verified, completing the process quickly, accurately, and in accordance with patient needs while maintaining the highest customer service/quality of care.
• Perform online ordering of prescriptions submitted to pharmacies.

• High school diploma or G.E.D.;
  Associate’s degree preferred.
• State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician License.
• Minimum two years of previous pharmacy technician experience.
• Previous experience as a specialty pharmacy technician preferred.
