Summary:
We are seeking patient-focused Physical Therapists responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility. Providing exceptional therapy with measurable outcomes is key to our success. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care and exceeds industry standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent healthcare to ensure good outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Evaluating new patients and developing care plans based on their medical and emotional status
- Treating patients and setting functional, measurable goals, addressing concerns and questions
- Educating patients on treatment options and home exercises
- Supervising aides during modalities and setup/cleanup duties (non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients)
- Monitoring and re-evaluating patient progress; revising plans as needed
- Managing pain effectively to improve function and daily activities
- Determining discharge readiness and teaching proper mechanics and ergonomics
- Documenting evaluations, progress notes, and discharges accurately and timely
- Maintaining productivity levels, typically 55-60 treatments plus evaluations weekly
- Participating in research and protocol development
- Providing input on policies and strategies to ensure quality care
- Handling patient feedback professionally
- Continuing professional development through research, seminars, and workshops
- Doctorate or Master's in Physical Therapy
- Valid Physical Therapy License
