Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Aide to join our team in Troy, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to medical staff or family members.
• Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely as needed.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by office staff.

• Must be familiar with Hoyer lift.
• Must have experience with Colostomy Bag.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.
