Advisa Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospice Administrator to join our team. The Hospice Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our hospice services, ensuring that high-quality care is provided to patients and their families during their time of need.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of hospice care principles and be adept in managing interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strategic planning, regulatory compliance adherence, and effective communication with all stakeholders involved in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of hospice services, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage and mentor nursing staff and other personnel to foster a supportive and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and families to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance coordination of care among team members.
  • Act as a liaison between the hospice and community organizations, promoting awareness of hospice services offered by Advisa Care.
  • Work in the field as needed.

Qualified candidates for the position of Hospice Administrator must meet the following requirements:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Proven experience in hospice or home health care administration.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospice regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
