YOUR ROLE
As a Member of Technical Staff, you will focus on implementing modern Dev Sec Ops technologies and pioneering new security tools, processes, and capabilities for cloud‑native solutions. You must have experience securing cloud‑native development environments and be a highly adaptable team player who can ramp up quickly in a fast‑paced agile environment. Strong technical, communication, and learning skills are essential.
In Your Daily Job You Will
- Secure on‑prem and public cloud environments leveraging IaC.
- Establish and implement security policies for Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms.
- Embed SAST, DAST, API security, and penetration testing into the product development workflow.
- Accelerate container security via pipeline development.
- Drive vulnerability management and remediation in partnership with product teams.
- Manage secure integrations between tools such as Git Lab, Jenkins, JIRA, and others.
- Implement solutions for event log collection and SIEM.
How You Will Contribute
- Expertise in cybersecurity principles and strong analytical skills.
- Experience architecting security features on cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), on‑prem, and hybrid environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Coverity, Burp Suite, ZAP, Trivy, Prisma Cloud, Tenable, Rapid7, etc.
- Designing and implementing application, network, and back‑end security‑enhancing features.
- Deep knowledge of vulnerability management, remediation, troubleshooting.
- Penetration testing and threat modeling (plus).
- Documentation, certification, and accreditation in NIST SP 800‑53, NIST 800‑171, FEDRAMP, STIGs.
- Strong foundation in Dev Sec Ops , IaC (Terraform, Helm).
Container and Cluster Hardening
- Excellent programming skills using Python, Go, etc.
- Pipeline automation expertise with Git Lab, Jenkins, Jira.
- Secrets management with Hashi Corp Vault (plus).
- Experience with Agile and Scrum.
- Self‑managed, fast learner, strong problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Team player in collaborative environments.
- Ability to present competing ideas simultaneously.
- Growth mindset and passion for learning new technologies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant technical experience in cybersecurity with 2+ years in software engineering.
- B.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
Security Clearance Requirements
Successful candidates must engage in a security clearance process based on citizenship. Some nationalities may be ineligible for the role. Wind River will comply with applicable human rights and privacy laws.
Compensation
The annual base salary ranges from $150,000 to $206,200 plus bonus, depending on experience, education, and role grade.
