Associate Attorney

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court proceedings as well as in mediation. They will also be responsible for drafting legal documents, preparing legal analysis, and handling all aspects of case management. Ideal candidates have a desire to help clients and make a difference in client s lives with compassion and empathy for clients facing difficult Family Law legal battles.

• Provide legal advice, conduct research, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court proceedings and mediation.
• Draft legal documents, prepare legal analyses, and handle all aspects of case management.

• Law degree and license to practice law in Michigan
• 6+ years experience in Family Law Litigation
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Effective negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently manage caseloads
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
