. The Group Manager Operations oversees day‑to‑day operations and management of Specialist teams, handling escalations, supervising employees, developing processes and procedures, and executing strategies in the Legal Collections Channel. The position requires a balanced mix of people, process and project management, and interacts with internal and external customers and cross‑functional organizations.
- Manage direct reports (30%)
- Ensure quality and accuracy of all work product; create, set and communicate performance plans to drive results (20%)
- Develop program/process strategies and execute against them (15%)
- Analyze business drivers at partner and program level to manage and improve performance, including project management of individual and team initiatives (15%)
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners internally and externally (10%)
- Respond to escalated consumer issues and identify potential compliance issues (5%)
- Conduct ongoing training for new hires as needed (5%)
- Education:
High School Diploma - Experience:
1–3 years in a people‑management role - Skills:
Proficient in MS Office; strong people‑management, program or relationship‑management skills
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field - Experience:
1–2 years in Financial Services - Skills:
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; superior verbal and written communication; detail‑oriented with proven ability to motivate people
