Its programs include Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Health, Detroit, and Human Services, working collectively to expand opportunities for low-income populations in American cities.
The Foundation is seeking nominations and applications for a Managing Director to lead its Health Program.
About the PositionThe Managing Director will develop and implement a strategic vision for grantmaking and social investing within the Health Program. The role involves collaborating across programs, managing the team, and representing Kresge externally to partners, grantees, and other foundations.
QualificationsCandidates should have a deep commitment to health equity, understanding of philanthropy's role in community health, and familiarity with urban health factors. A minimum of 10 years' experience in relevant fields such as philanthropy, community development, or health equity is required. Leadership skills, team management experience, and a bachelor’s degree are essential; a master's degree is preferred.
