The Alterations Manager leads and supports the alterations team at the Troy store. The role ensures outstanding client service and effective coordination with the selling organization.
Responsibilities- Organize processes and monitor objectives, progress, and results.
- Build teamwork between the selling organization and the alterations department.
- Recruit, select, train, and develop associates while providing ongoing education, assessments, and performance feedback.
- Maintain customer service, quality, productivity, and adherence to department policies and procedures.
- At least 3 years of management experience with comparable volume or a track record of managing an operations workforce and achieving results.
- Knowledge of alterations, garment fabrication, and luxury merchandise styling.
- Proficiency with available technology, including Word and Excel.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A four-year degree and luxury fitting or tailoring experience are preferred; ability to fit and alter a wide range of garments is preferred.
