Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advance the mission, vision, and short and long‑term goals of TROY University and the Office of Development.
  • Maintain a dynamic portfolio of individuals and priority corporate prospective donors to solicit lead annual gifts (up to $25,000) and meet or exceed agreed‑upon annual metrics.
  • Serve as a member of the Office of Development frontline fundraisers team for Leadership Annual Giving gifts and participate in prospect management and prospect strategy meetings.
  • Work under the direction of the Director of Annual Giving to coordinate all key strategic solicitations and annual giving events.
  • Assist the Director of Annual Giving with the management of student workers.
  • Assist with other development projects as needed and directed by the Director of Annual Giving.
  • Serve as an exemplary TROY University advocate in the community, local leaders, alumni organizations, business and corporate partners, and other key constituents.
  • Be active and involved in the advancement profession and faithfully represent TROY University in a collegiate and professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, events, or customer services fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of constituents.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility.
    Work Hours

    M-F, 8-5. Some evenings and weekends required.
