Join our team as an RN Supervisor supporting the Nursing Resource Pool at Troy Hospital. In this role you’ll work with a dynamic group of RNs, Nursing Assistants, and Sitters, collaborating across various hospital units to deliver exceptional care. We are seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to meet our current staffing needs. Although there is some flexibility in scheduling, night coverage is our top priority.

Scope

of Work

As the Nurse Supervisor, you coordinate and organize personnel and other resources to meet patient care functions in a cost‑effective manner. You collaborate to provide crisis management, interpret policy and procedure, and ensure timely and effective communication and collaboration across departments. You represent organizational leadership across all venues on a 24‑hour basis and make decisions and act on behalf of the leadership team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) – required.
  • Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience – required.
  • One year of relevant formal nursing leadership experience for external applicants – required.
  • One year of relevant demonstrated informal leadership experience for internal applicants, may include but not limited to charge lead nurse, charge nurse responsibilities, leadership on behalf of unit/site/system at shared governance council – required.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) credential – required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required.
