Position: Caregiver (12 hr shifts, full benefits, overtime, group home setting)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Care First Rehabilitation is looking for compassionate, reliable, motivated individuals to join our growing team! At Care First, we care for clients who have traumatic brain injuries from car accidents. We have six different residential / AFC homes that our CNA's, therapists, and nurses work in (five in Troy, one in Farmington).

Setting / Facility

  • Group home setting; 5 in Troy and one in Farmington
  • Will be scheduled in one of the homes for the first 90 days (we select the home)
  • If you’re working the day shift, you will be involved in our Day Program that the clients attend Monday-Friday from 9 : 00am-4 : 00pm. The clients have various therapies, catered lunch, activities, and outings each day during our program.

Pay

  • $17 / hour if CNA certified ($16 / hour if not CNA certified)
  • $18 / hour after only 90 days of employment, and passing additional trainings.
  • Annual performance review where you’re subject to a raise
  • Additional room for growth; A Supervisor position that you could be eligible for after 6 months of employment.
  • $1,000 quarterly attendance incentive program ($4,000 / year)
  • $150 stipend for successful employee referrals

Schedule

  • Choose your 12 hour shift;
    Either 7 : 00am-7 : 30pm OR 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am (30 minute unpaid break)
  • Get scheduled for 3 shifts per week (with rotating weekend), but you can pick up as many open shifts as you’d like for time and a half.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have reliable transportation as you will eventually work in more than one location
  • Must be able to work full time (3, 12 hour, shifts per week)
  • Must be able to rotate weekends (every other Saturday and Sunday)
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must not sleep during either shift
