Staff Bright is partnering with a client to find an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to join their growing commercial team. This role focuses on managing relationships with OEM customers and distribution centers, particularly those serving automotive and industrial markets. The Account Manager will develop strategies to expand premium product sales, identify new business opportunities, and support commercial operations in alignment with corporate pricing and product strategies.
This role does involve travel:
- Occassionally (1-33%) travel by airplane
- Frequently (34-67% travel by car
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage and negotiate ongoing business relationships with assigned accounts.
- Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships while actively identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies focused on increasing premium product market share.
- Use tools such as Salesforce, Price Configurator, and Forecasting Systems to manage pipeline and reporting.
- Conduct market and customer research to support business development initiatives.
- Identify strategic growth opportunities aligned with broader company objectives.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to ensure a unified customer experience.
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and forecasting of account activity.
- Maintain consistent communication with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and responsiveness to support business needs.
What We Need From You
- Knowledge in automotive, specifically metals
- 3+ years of sales experience establishing and growing relationships with OEMs and automotive suppliers
- Customer service and negotiation experience
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent sales experience
- Ability to work autonomously; self-starter
