Sr. Business Development & Sales Manager

Our client is a global automotive technology company specializing in advanced fluid handling, thermal management, and electromechanical solutions for leading vehicle manufacturers worldwide.

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion across North America.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
• Build and expand strategic customer relationships at engineering, purchasing, program management, and executive levels.
• Lead RFQ activities, commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term agreements.
• Act as the primary customer interface and coordinate closely with Engineering, R&D, Operations, and Program Management teams.
• Support product commercialization and drive customer adoption of advanced automotive technologies.
• Collaborate with global teams to develop customer-specific solutions and growth strategies.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify future business opportunities.
• Manage sales forecasts, pipeline development, and revenue planning activities.
• Support successful product launches and ongoing customer programs throughout the lifecycle.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Automotive Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, or Commercial Leadership.
• Proven experience working directly with Automotive OEMs and/or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Experience with in Fluid Systems, Thermal Management, Cooling Systems, Pumps, Powertrain Components, Automotive Components, or Mechatronic Systems.
• Strong understanding of automotive sourcing, RFQ management, product development, and launch processes.
• Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and strategic account development.
• Ability to engage effectively with both technical and executive-level customer stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and commercial leadership capabilities.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
• Willingness to travel across North America as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
