Mechanical Conveyor Installers; Traveler

Overview:

Talascend, a proud veteran-owned company, is seeking skilled Traveling Mechanical Conveyor Installers to join our growing team. This is a 100% travel position, responsible for the installation of mechanical conveyor systems at customer sites across the country in various industrial and commercial environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical assembly in settings such as construction, manufacturing, or logistics. Prior experience working in facilities like UPS, Fed Ex, or Amazon is highly valued, along with familiarity in both weld-up and bolt-up conveyor systems.

• Install mechanical conveyor systems according to project specifications, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans.
• Adhere to all safety standards and company policies during installation and site work.
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical conveyor installation, mechanical assembly, or a similar field.
• Proficient in various types of conveyor systems, including belt, roller, and chain conveyors.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with mechanical safety protocols and regulations.
• Willing and able to travel 100% of the time (including overnights and weekends when necessary).
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a must.
• Ability to pass a drug and background check.

• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.
• Able to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.

• OSHA certification.
• Forklift certification.
• Scissor Lift certification.
