Conveyor Welders; Travelers

Talascend, a proud veteran-owned company, is seeking experienced Conveyor Welders to join our growing team. This is a 100% travel position, focused on field-based welding, fabrication, and installation of custom conveyor systems at customer sites nationwide.

As a Conveyor Welder, you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling components used in our custom-built conveyor systems. We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals who take pride in high-quality workmanship.

• Perform MIG/TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, or aluminum used in conveyor components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, and fabricate materials according to required dimensions.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Use hand tools and fabrication equipment (grinders, saws, brakes, etc.) as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to company safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other fabricators, welders, and supervisors to meet deadlines.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or welding certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Minimum 3 years MIG/TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, or aluminum used in conveyor components.
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and measurements.
• Willing and able to travel 100% of the time (including overnights and weekends when necessary).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders/scaffolding, and in physically demanding environments.

• AWS or other welding certifications.
• Experience assembling or installing conveyors.
• Military or veteran background (not required but valued).
