We are hiring a full-time Painter for interior and exterior painting on commercial and residential projects throughout Metro Detroit. The role pays $25–$35 per hour and requires a minimum of two years of painting experience. The schedule is usually Monday through Friday, with optional weekend work.
Painters from Rochester, Troy, Novi, and the surrounding Metro Detroit area are encouraged to apply. Job sites are located throughout Metro Detroit.
Responsibilities- Prepare work areas and protect surrounding surfaces, furnishings, and fixtures.
- Clean, sand, patch, and prepare surfaces for paint or coatings as appropriate to the assigned project.
- Apply primers, paints, and finishes using suitable brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Check finished work for coverage, consistency, and touch-up needs.
- Keep tools, materials, and work areas organized and clean.
- Follow product instructions and applicable jobsite safety procedures.
- Communicate progress, material needs, and project concerns to the supervisor.
- Minimum two years of painting experience.
- Own transportation to job sites throughout Metro Detroit.
- Own painting tools.
