Substitute Teacher

Overview

Youth In Need is seeking a Substitute Teacher. You ll create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and colleagues to make this happen. You ll show exemplary Infant/Toddler responsive care, alongside classroom management, lesson planning, and developmentally appropriate practices.

Youth In Need has been helping to create safe places for the area s most vulnerable children since 1974. We have more than 400 full- and part-time staff serving more than 8,000 children, teens, and families at nearly 100 locations in six counties in Eastern Missouri. We are a St. Louis Post-Dispatch Top Workplace for seven straight years and are nationally recognized by the US Department of Health and Human Services as an exemplary program.

We are interested in Substitute Teachers with a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Ability to be CPR Certified is required. This is an hourly, part-time position with starting pay at $16.19/hour.
