For more than 60 years the Troy & Wentzville Veterinary Clinics have been helping the people of Troy, Wentzville, Moscow Mills, Cave, Flint Hill, New Melle and throughout Lincoln and St. Charles counties maintain the health and wellbeing of their companion animals, beef cattle and equines. - Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area and greet clients and patients.
- Answer questions, triage client concerns and direct calls or email inquiries to the appropriate party.
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients, and process payments.
- Provide friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need, remaining comfortable with various medical outcomes.
- Withstand unpleasant odors and noises; may be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.
- Participate in virtual and hands‑on training and continuing development opportunities to grow in the role or advance to the next career move.
- Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1‑year veterinary experience preferred.
- Compassionate, calm, team player, multitasker and strong communicator.
- Highly organized with computer skills.
- Self‑starter with a desire to continue advancing knowledge and skills.
