Inpatient Psychiatry opportunity at a hospital-based adult behavioral health unit seeking Locum Psychiatrists to support inpatient services.

This role offers a structured weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and a secure work environment.

• Adult inpatient behavioral health unit

• 30-bed adult unit split between 2 physicians (approximately 15 patients per provider)

• Total inpatient capacity: 63 beds

• Inpatient team: 3 current physicians with 2 additional locum openings

• Outpatient team at full staffing: 5 physicians and 1 APP

• EMR:
  Epic

• 24/7 hospital security; all staff participate in emergency codes

• Pediatric exposure limited to crisis unit only during weekend call, with transfer to adolescent facility if admitted
  
  

• Board Certified in Psychiatry

• Active New York license at the time of submission

• ACLS certification

• Clean background due to expedited credentialing

• Must be available full-time (availability to be noted at submission)

• Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the same month as submission
  
  

• Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

• Call rotation: 1:4

• Credentialing:
