Are you an experienced Lumber & Building Materials (LBM) professional looking for an opportunity to influence how businesses modernise and grow?
We're seeking a Software Solutions Specialist to bring deep industry expertise into customer implementation projects, helping LBM businesses improve operations, adopt best practices, and achieve long-term success.
This is not a traditional implementation role. It's an opportunity for someone with extensive LBM knowledge to act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through operational decisions, reducing implementation risk, and helping shape the future of industry-leading ERP solutions.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead and support customer discovery, design, and implementation workshops.
- Advise customers on LBM best practices across purchasing, inventory, pricing, contractor sales, dispatch, estimating, rebates, EDI, and multi-branch operations.
- Challenge inefficient legacy processes and recommend scalable ways of working.
- Act as a bridge between customers, project teams, product teams, and developers.
- Identify product enhancements and provide practical feedback from real-world implementations.
- Create reusable templates, workflows, and implementation guidance.
- Build trusted relationships with executives, operational leaders, and key stakeholders.
- 10+ years' experience within the North American LBM industry.
- Experience working with dealers, distributors, buying groups, software vendors, or ERP implementation environments.
- Strong understanding of LBM operations and business processes.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as Epicor, Bis Track, Spruce, DMSi, Agility, or similar solutions.
- Ability to lead customer conversations with credibility and confidence.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with a passion for delivering customer outcomes.
- Influence the future direction of ERP technology within the LBM sector.
- Work closely with customers to solve real operational challenges.
- Play a strategic role across project delivery, customer success, and product development.
- Join a growing business with ambitious expansion plans across North America.
- Enjoy flexible working and excellent opportunities for professional growth.
- Competitive compensation package
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Short and long-term disability insurance
