Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Location: Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call Rotation: 1:5 nights/weekends (includes rounding)

Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist for an immediate, short-term opportunity (approx. 4 months). You ll join a collaborative team of four experienced cardiologists, rotating responsibilities across:

• Inpatient consults and rounding (morning census: 8 10 patients)
• Outpatient clinic coverage
• Reading panels and stress tests

This role offers a balanced mix of clinical and diagnostic work, with support from a well-established team and access to advanced technology including EPIC EMR.

UVMC is Miami County s only Level III Trauma Center, offering comprehensive services including:

• Full-service acute care
• Behavioral health center
• Sleep center
• Wound treatment center with 2 hyperbaric chambers
• Advanced diagnostics and imaging

Awards & Recognition:

• Health grades Patient Safety Excellence Award
• Ranked in the top 10% nationally for patient safety
• Ranked in the top 15% for patient experience

• MD or DO with completion of a cardiology fellowship
• Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology
• Ohio medical license (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with inpatient rounding, stress testing, and diagnostic interpretation
