A Certified Medical Assistant for the Premier Physician Network will typically see upwards of 30 patients per day and is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under the supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center physicians/providers.

• Rooming patients and collecting vitals
• Pulmonary function tests
• Administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests
• Other duties as assigned; attention to detail and excellent documentation skills are an ongoing expectation.

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate
• Certified Medical Assistant, having graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program
• Prior experience in ambulatory health care preferred
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians
• Self‑motivated to achieve highest patient care and customer service standards
• CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment
• Knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT coding
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law
